In addition to acting, Shawn spent several years working as a production stage manager for the Zev Bufman organization in South Florida, Producing Managers in New York and the Tanglwood Dinner Theatre in Tafton, Pennsylvania. He worked behind the camera on several films and television programs, including as Line Producer on Looking For Trouble. He was an officer with two Florida-based independent film companies, Earth Productions in Marathon, and Macaw Films in Vero Beach.
